Third Shift Die Cutter Operator

Position Overview Quad is seeking full‑time Die Cutter Operators at its Spartanburg, SC plant. Operators set up and run die‑cutting machines to produce finished products for a range of clients including medical, pharmaceutical, and consumer brands. Shift Availability 6am – 6pm (Monday‑Wednesday) 6pm – 6am (Sunday‑Tuesday) 6am – 6pm (Thursday‑Saturday) 6pm – 6am (Wednesday‑Friday) Compensation Wages start between $17.00 and $23.00 per hour, based on experience and performance. Overtime and shift differentials may apply. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Adhere to company policies, safety, contamination control, and efficiency standards. Perform pre‑production, make‑ready, and production‑run tasks. Operate powered die‑cutting equipment. Train workers on machine operations when required. Maintain a clean work area and properly dispose of waste. Cross‑train as assigned. Follow personal protective equipment rules. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Preference for sheetfed die cutter experience; experience with Bobst 106 is desired but other models acceptable. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision. Monitor machine operations for quality and safety adjustments. Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills. Computer literacy for quality checks. Basic math skills. Accurate use of measuring devices. Experience with hand tools. Physical ability to lift 10‑15 lb continuously, up to 50 lb occasionally, and stand for long periods during 10‑12‑hour shifts.
