Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in a high-volume emergency department, including assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring
- Establish and maintain IV access, administer medications, and assist with emergency procedures as ordered
- Perform timely patient assessments, document findings, and communicate with physicians and the care team
- Protect patient safety, adhere to infection control and safety protocols, and manage patient flow during high-acuity events
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care and disposition
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up needs

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications
- ER nursing experience preferred; ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced ED
- Demonstrated clinical judgment, critical thinking, and strong documentation skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting
- Must meet credentialing and immunization requirements as part of the assignment process
