RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
/n• Complete assessments and individualize plans of care within established unit and nursing guidelines
/n• Carry out nursing care with consideration for cultural, psychosocial factors, and ages of individual patients
/n• Organize, prioritize, and perform nursing skills appropriate for the patient population
/n• Demonstrate sound bio-psychosocial knowledge base and professional judgment
/n• Delegate and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
/n• Document nursing process and care steps accurately on appropriate records
/n• Facilitate patient teaching and discharge planning
/n• Make timely and appropriate referrals as needed
/n• Collaborate with other disciplines and support unit/hospital goals
/n• Attend mandatory in-services and meet unit education standards
/n• Previous Cath Lab experience required
/n• Epic experience (Yale) preferred
/n• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License required
/n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
/n• Cupid experience preferred (Muskogee)
/n• 0-6 months of related experience accepted
/n• Must demonstrate effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
/n• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and efficiently
/n• Detail-oriented examination of clinical and numerical data required
