Senior Software EngineerHello, I have an exciting opportunity as a Senior Software Engineer for one of the largest gaming companies in the country! This is a 12+ month contract where you would be supporting PST hours from anywhere in the US!Job Title: Software EngineerDuration: 12+ monthsKey Responsibilities:Build scalable, high-volume, high-availability systems, with a focus on delivering player value.Contribute to evolve system architecture to deliver business needs.Participate in development of new features and defect resolution on existing applications, as well as assist with scoping and designing new product initiatives.Work with large volumes of data in both relational and NoSQL data stores.Working closely with our Data Scientist group, Game teams and other development teams.Participate in software development best practices and patterns.Coach and mentor junior developers.Player Profile:Proven experience in a software engineering/development and design of large-scale distributed systems.Strong Programming skills and proficiency in languages like Java, Python, C#, Golang or similar.Hands-on experience with high-volume consumer facing API.Analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.Strong capability in working with NoSQL databases (Bigquery, Cassandra, or similar)Experience with data pipelines such as Kafka.Self-starter who is excited about learning new technologies. Ability to work independently, learn quickly and be proactiveExperience with GCP, Data Bricks a plus.
