Planning Analyst

Planning Analyst We are looking for a Planning Analyst to join our team at the 3M Guin facility in Guin, AL. In this role you will manage end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring customer requirements and supply chain metrics are met. Responsibilities Manage the supply plan by purchasing raw materials, scheduling production, and managing finished good inventory for multiple manufacturing areas Coordinate with other 3M locations, external suppliers, and various business teams to meet service, cost, and inventory targets Develop and maintain operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand Provide planning analysis to support decision making Publish and present service and inventory metrics, results, and gap analysis Actively manage working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets Identify and implement supply chain process improvement projects Support business transformation readiness activities and projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Two (2) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment Desired Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain from an accredited institution Four (4) years of supply chain, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, production, and/or customer service experience in a private, public, government or military environment Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Experience with Manufacturing Execution and/or Planning System (e.g., SAP) APICS CPIM certification preferred; Six Sigma Green Belt project experience and/or certification Experience in Lean Scheduling or Lean Manufacturing Experience with Microsoft VBA Macros, SQL, MS Cloud Apps (Teams, SharePoint, Power BI) Location & Travel Work location: On-site at 3M Guin, AL Travel: May include up to 5% domestic Relocation assistance: May be authorized Legal & Employment Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status) Benefits Competitive compensation range: $84,595 - $103,394 (base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible) Benefits include Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and Retirement Benefits Safety Safety is a core value at 3M; all employees are expected to comply with safety policies, identify hazards, and engage in continuous improvement.
