You will ride for extended periods, conduct routine patrols, assist with access and site concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned public areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the assigned location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
