How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Identify, intervene, and assist with stabilizing ill or injured patients under the direction of a physician and/or Registered Nurse.
• Initiate and support appropriate patient care interventions in accordance with hospital protocols, scope of practice, and established standards of care.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition, treatment provided, and response to interventions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support timely, coordinated, and compassionate patient care.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
• Paramedic specializing in Flight credentialed from the International Board of Specialty Certification obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Paramedic credentialed from the Florida Emergency Medical Services obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• PALS certification
• Minimum 1 year of previous Paramedic experience.
