Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and timely management of medical conditions through coordinated efforts with healthcare team members.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and document patient conditions upon arrival.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions following physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of emergency care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and aftercare instructions.
• Monitor patient progress and respond quickly to changes in condition.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in emergency nursing or acute care.
• Valid BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required or must be obtained.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
