Job Title : Driver, CDL (Open) Location : Asheville, NC – Bulk cryo logistics – ANC Compensation : $27.00/hr Schedule : Day Shift – Weekend availability is required Route : Asheville, NC and surrounding areas Equipment Used : Class B Driver with Hazmat and Tanker Required Qualifications Valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker, and Airbrake endorsements Maintenance of an appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements No more than two traffic convictions or two at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years, or a combination of one traffic conviction and one at‑fault accident in the last 3 years No driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years Ability to work in a drug‑free environment Regularly lift 75 lb and move more than 125 lb with material‑handling equipment One year of CDL driving experience within the last five years or evidence of completion of a trucking school within the last five years Preferred Qualifications Forklift Certification Pallet Jack Certification Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance Paid childbirth benefit of up to 14 weeks 401(k) retirement plan with company match Tuition assistance and discounted college tuition for eligible employees’ dependents Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Pre‑tax commuter transportation benefit Floating holidays, jury duty, and funeral/bereavement leave Paid holidays for all eligible full‑time employees Airgas is an equal opportunity employer.
