Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Nurse in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position involves providing specialized patient care in a high-acuity environment across multiple ICUs, including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID units. The role requires strong, independent clinical skills with the flexibility to float between units as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including ACLS, BLS, CPI (Certified Pediatric Nurse Certification preferred), NIHSS, minimum of 2 years ICU experience, plus at least 1 year of CV ICU experience. Valid IL license required at the time of submittal.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system, specialized skills such as hemodynamic interpretation (Swan-Ganz), IABP, Impella, ECMO, CRRT, Vents, IV starts, Telemetry, and Conscious Sedation. Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Center settings is advantageous.
• Float: Will float to inpatient floors and non-critical care units as needed with ratios of no more than 1:3. May be asked to serve as a patient sitter.
• Special Procedures/Units: Floating across multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac, Heart and Vascular, Neurology, and COVID; does not require CVICU experience.
• Additional Information: No local candidate restrictions within 75 miles. RTO of up to 7 days permitted with manager approval; no RTO allowed during the first week or after submission without approval. Must have appropriate certifications by the compliance deadline.
