Take your skills as a Special Education Teacher to the next level with a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the Riverside, CA area. This role offers the chance to work closely with a TK-6th grade caseload, providing Resource Specialist Program (RSP) services to 27 students during a maternity leave, with the potential for extension through the end of the school year.

As part of the SPED team, you’ll have a direct impact on student learning, growth, and success in a collaborative school environment. This contract position aligns with the needs of those looking for a meaningful, short-term assignment—while leaving a lasting positive impression on students’ educational journeys.

Qualifications:

• Current CTC Certification in Mild to Moderate Special Education (required)
• Experience delivering RSP services to elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments
• Ability to adapt to varying student needs and educational plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to TK-6th grade students in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with general education staff and families to develop and monitor student goals
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
• Support a positive learning atmosphere that encourages growth and achievement
