As the restaurant general manager, you are the #1 leader! Your leadership of one of the world's largest brands is a big responsibility but with your KFC Family supporting you; you can reach higher than you ever imagined!
Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:
- Ownership of your restaurant's success metrics and lead restaurant team to reach goals
- Lead the guest experiences in your restaurant that includes friendly interactions, a clean restaurant and fresh meals
- Grow and mentor your KFC family through training, development and onboarding new team members
- Lead communications of your team's goals, upcoming promotions, business updates, etc
- Inspire the overall positive and collaborative family environment
- Partner with other Restaurant General Managers and Area Leaders to grow and move the business forward
- Reviewing and submitting payroll
- Completing employee new hire paperwork
- Completing employee change forms and termination forms
- Ensure the store is operated in a safe and clean manner at all times
- Ensure work schedules are adequate to meet customer service requirements but are also cost effective
- Ensure that the store is operated in compliance with Company policies and procedures
- Daily record keeping of the store financial and production activities
- Maintaining documentation as specified by their Area Coach, Director of Operations and Human Resources.

- Some heavy lifting may be required (range 25-85 pounds)
- Extended standing
- Hearing in normal range must be present due to auditory alarms for some cooking equipment
- Cash handling and counting may be required
- Reading of menus, manuals and training aids required
- Manual dexterity in packing food containers and cleaning
- Ability to work with others in somewhat confined space
- Maintaining safety around high temperature equipment, boiling water and hot shortening
- Capable of maintaining the confidentiality of Company operating procedures and operating results
