Pomegranate Market
Job Description
The Bistro at Pomegranate Market is seeking an experienced, motivated kitchen cook who loves food, clean eating, and delivering excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with flexible shifts Monday through Sunday. ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare salads, sandwiches, taqueria menu items, hot bar menu items, soups, fresh smoothies and other beverages according to recipes
Take customer orders and deliver food and beverages efficiently
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, knives, juicers, and dishwashers
Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, dining area, tables, counters, salad bar, and steam table
Replenish supplies and ensure all products meet quality standards
Communicate clearly with customers and team members in English
Operate cash register and food scale when needed
Physical Requirements:
Stand for long periods, bend, reach, lift up to 25lbs, and push/pull carts up to 50lbs
Use hands and fingers to prepare, package, and serve food and beverages
