Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse position located in Greenville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care to a primarily adult patient population with hematologic or oncologic concerns, immunocompromised conditions, radiation complications, cardiac arrhythmias, and complex fluid and medication management. Candidates must have a valid nursing license and bring their license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a similar environment.

• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license (Compact accepted), with a minimum of 2 years of experience; Certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong oncology background, phlebotomy skills, ability to read and interpret cardiac strips, and experience administering chemotherapy, continuous infusion medications, pain management, wound vac dressing changes, wound drains, central lines, tracheotomy patients, chest tubes, IV starts, peripheral and arterial blood draws, and various intravenous drips including cardiac, insulin, and heparin.
• Float: No float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Staff-to-patient ratios are 1:4 for RNs and 1:8 for nursing assistants, with flexibility to accommodate up to 1:5 or 1:6 if needed. The unit is not monitored by techs; nursing staff analyze cardiac rhythms independently. Use of ancillary staff is permitted. All time off must be negotiated prior to confirmation. Candidates will need to pass EKG and pharmacy exams during the compliance process. Typical work involves 3 out of 4 holidays.
