Exciting opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to make a direct impact in a supportive school environment near Odenville, AL. This full-time, onsite contract position will cover a 12-week maternity leave at a local elementary school, working with approximately 50 students in PreK through 4th grade. You’ll collaborate with educators and staff to support young learners in achieving their communication goals and set them up for long-term academic success.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active SLP State License and current Educator Certificate
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience providing therapy in educational settings (school-based experience preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Comfort working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Positive, flexible approach and genuine passion for supporting children’s development

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessments and therapeutic interventions to students with speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families
• Maintain compliant records and monitor student progress
• Consult regularly with classroom teachers and other school professionals
• Participate in student support, team meetings, and parent conferences as needed
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging environment for every learner
