About the Role

Best Service Leasing is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Product Management Director to lead regional product strategy, portfolio management, and market development initiatives across the United States.

In this leadership role, you will oversee product planning, market positioning, portfolio optimization, and product lifecycle management to support the company's business objectives and long-term growth. You will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, enhance product offerings, improve customer value, and strengthen the company's competitive position.

The ideal candidate combines strategic product management expertise, strong commercial acumen, and proven leadership capabilities, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product initiatives in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Regional Product Strategy: Develop and execute regional product strategies aligned with company objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
• Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the regional product portfolio, including product positioning, prioritization, performance evaluation, and lifecycle planning.
• Market Research and Analysis: Monitor industry trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and regional market conditions to identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth.
• Product Roadmap Development: Establish and manage product roadmaps that balance business priorities, customer requirements, market demand, and available resources.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, operations, finance, technology, and customer service teams to coordinate product initiatives and deliver consistent business outcomes.
• Product Launch and Market Expansion: Lead regional go-to-market planning, product launches, positioning strategies, and adoption initiatives to support revenue growth.
• Customer Experience Enhancement: Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product relevance, service quality, usability, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Business Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor product performance, revenue contribution, profitability, adoption, and customer retention.
• Strategic Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand product offerings, strengthen market presence, and develop new business opportunities across assigned regions.
• Pricing and Profitability: Collaborate with finance and commercial teams to evaluate pricing strategies, cost structures, and product profitability.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop product management professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Executive Communication: Present product performance updates, market insights, strategic recommendations, and progress against business objectives to senior leadership.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure product strategies and related business activities comply with applicable regulations, contractual requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Product Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in product management, portfolio management, product strategy, or related business functions.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role involving product teams, regional business initiatives, or complex product portfolios.
• Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that support business growth and measurable performance improvements.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, market research, competitive positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior-level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning skills, including the ability to evaluate product performance and market opportunities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in business analytics, project management, and digital collaboration tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead distributed teams effectively in a remote environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically as required by business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in leasing, equipment leasing, fleet management, asset-based services, or related industries.
• Familiarity with service-oriented business models, customer lifecycle management, and recurring revenue strategies.
• Experience managing product portfolios across multiple U.S. markets or regions.
• Knowledge of pricing models, contract structures, financial performance metrics, and commercial risk assessment.
• Experience introducing new products, optimizing existing offerings, and improving customer retention.
• Ability to translate customer and market insights into scalable product strategies and business solutions.
