Commercial Litigation Attorney

A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Hackensack, NJ is seeking an Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join their growing team. The firm has been a fixture in Northern New Jersey's legal community since 1913, with a strong reputation in real estate, condominium and co-op law, business litigation, and municipal law. The firm also maintains a New York City office, offering exposure to a broad bi-state client base.

Responsibilities

• Advising condominium associations, co-op boards, and related entities on governance, disputes, and regulatory matters
• Handling real estate transactions including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and contract negotiation
• Managing business and commercial litigation matters across state and federal courts
• Drafting and reviewing transactional documents, governing documents, and agreements
• Counseling clients on municipal law, land use, and landlord-tenant matters as needed
• Managing client relationships and serving as a primary point of contact on assigned matters

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in real estate transactions, condominium/co-op law, business litigation, or a related practice area
• New Jersey Bar admission required; New York Bar admission a plus
• Prior judicial clerkship experience preferred
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload in a collegial, client-focused environment

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $160,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
