Attorney for AI Model Training

Role Overview
Apply litigation expertise to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems through high-quality legal analysis, research, and feedback. This remote contract role focuses on improving how AI handles document review, discovery management, case strategy, and motion practice.

Key Responsibilities

Create and implement legal rubrics for AI-supported document review and analysis.

Perform in-depth legal research and draft complex memoranda to support AI training and evaluation.

Review high volumes of litigation documents to identify issues, trends, and data points relevant to AI improvement.

Partner with cross-functional teams to translate legal insights into actionable AI development requirements.

Assess the quality and accuracy of AI outputs and provide feedback to strengthen discovery management and motion practice capabilities.

Develop case strategy and motion practice templates for legal AI use cases.

Continuously refine rubric criteria to reflect evolving legal standards and best practices.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

At least 5 years of litigation experience, including management of document-intensive matters through discovery and dispositive motions.

Strong legal research, writing, analytical, issue-spotting, and document-analysis skills.

Demonstrated experience developing case strategy and handling motion practice.

Experience managing discovery and complex legal document review projects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.

Comfort working with technology in a remote, digital-first environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Law Review or journal editorial experience, including substantive editing, cite-checking, and scholarly legal publication review.

Work Terms
Remote contract engagement.

Compensation
Compensation$100 to $150 per hour.
