HR/Payroll Assistant

Respond to employment verification requests Record and report employee call-ins Assist employees with general HR/ Payroll related questions Assist employees with paid/ unpaid time off questions and paperwork Assist employees with tax form changes and employee records updates Print employee documents (i.e. insurance cards, check stubs) Filing, sorting, and scanning HR/Payroll employee documents Access ADP and Attendance Counts to respond to employee requests (i.e., benefits, attendance points, accrual balances) Update employee information in ADP when needed Respond to general questions (i.e. 401k, HSA) Order supplies for HR/ Payroll (catering, employee events) Assisting employees with claim issues, communicating with insurance agent as needed to provide resolution Maintain accurate records in ADP and Leave Management systems Coordinate employee rewards and events Manage employee badges Submit temp hours to temporary agency Verify accuracy of weekly uniform invoices Other duties and projects assigned Duties & Responsibilities: Answer incoming HR department calls Respond to employment verification requests Record and report employee call-ins Assist employees with general HR/ Payroll related questions Assist employees with paid/ unpaid time off questions and paperwork Assist employees with tax form changes and employee records updates Print employee documents (i.e. insurance cards, check stubs) Filing, sorting, and scanning HR/Payroll employee documents Perform data entry Access ADP and Attendance Counts to respond to employee requests (i.e., benefits, attendance points, accrual balances) Update employee information in ADP when needed Respond to general questions (i.e. 401k, HSA) Order supplies for HR/ Payroll (catering, employee events) Assisting employees with claim issues, communicating with insurance agent as needed to provide resolution Maintain accurate records in ADP and Leave Management systems Coordinate employee rewards and events Manage employee badges Submit temp hours to temporary agency Verify accuracy of weekly uniform invoices Other duties and projects assigned Required Skills and Abilities: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent HR/Payroll experience Office experience, 2+ years required, HR/ADP payroll experience preferred Ability to effectively and professionally communicate in person, by phone, and by email Strong administrative skills Customer service Strong MS Office skills Detail oriented Self-starter with the ability to adapt and problem solve Ability to work well in a team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Client First Staffing
