Fitness Counselors actively pursue enrollment of new members through self-generated and company-sponsored programs, promotions, and referrals. In this fast-paced, energy-driven position, you will support potential members in fulfilling their fitness goals, using a lively sales approach to help new members pursue their goals. Responsibilities Membership Sales (Club and Individual — including services, products, programs) Manage membership billing processes and fitness sales pipeline Customer Service (friendly, clean, helpful, problem resolution) Act as an information hub, offering comprehensive knowledge of products, programs, and events Qualifications Communicate well with members and fellow team members with a customer service mentality Team player and willing to jump into any task and get it done Possess strong mathematical, analytical, and sales skills Able to work independently, multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding environment Strong attention to detail while producing accurate and high-quality work Available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays Comfortable with technology, ability to quickly shift focus, and phone etiquette Requirements Must successfully pass Background Check Must be authorized to work in the U.S. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, tools, and equipment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Capability to bend and stop for extended periods to access equipment and perform maintenance tasks Compensation and Benefits Eligible for additional compensation including commission and tenure pay Hourly position with potential for additional compensation Salary range: $16.90 — $17.90 USD per hour Benefits and Perks A highly energetic and collaborative team Management team that supports professional development Free membership for you and one family member Discounted personal training and merchandise including supplements Employee referral program Daily pay option Competitive pay plus vacation, holiday, and sick pay Group health, dental, vision, supplemental life, and employee assistance programs 401(k) with company matching Personal education growth options Based on eligibility of tenure and full-time vs. part-time status.
