Elementary Assistant Principal

Summary We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Elementary Assistant Principal. This full-time position plays a crucial role in supporting the principal in the administration of the school, fostering a positive and productive learning environment, and promoting academic excellence among students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to student success. Responsibilities Assist the principal in the overall administration of the school, including the development and implementation of educational programs and policies. Support teachers and staff in their professional development and instructional practices. Collaborate with faculty to enhance curriculum and improve student learning outcomes. Monitor student progress and implement interventions to support at‑risk students. Foster a positive school culture through effective communication and collaboration with students, parents, and the community. Manage student discipline and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment. Coordinate school events, programs, and activities that promote student engagement and community involvement. Assist in the evaluation and assessment of staff performance. Participate in school committees and workgroups to support school improvement initiatives. Stay informed about educational trends and best practices to enhance school operations. Requirements Valid state certification or licensure in school administration or leadership. Prior experience in an educational setting, preferably in a leadership or administrative role. Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders, including students, parents, and staff. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students.
