Medical Lab Scientist - Chemistry - Part time - Evening shift

Job Summary The Medical Lab Scientist analyzes biological specimens, integrating instrument operation, maintenance, and control/calibration with patient data and test results to provide accurate, reliable, and timely information for preventing, diagnosing, or treating disease. Ensures compliance with quality control and quality assurance programs to achieve the highest quality patient care. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Certification as a Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), National Certification Agency (NCA), Clinical Laboratory Technologists (CLT), or registry eligible as a Medical Technologist. New graduates (≤90 days post‑grad) or new to the state must obtain certification within 18 months of employment.
