Dialog Cafe is looking for experienced Baristas to join our team at Dialog Café WeHo. As a high-volume café, we’re seeking individuals who can balance strong technical coffee skills with genuine hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Our ideal candidate is thoughtful, reliable, and detail-oriented, with a strong foundation in third-wave specialty coffee and a genuine passion for creating an exceptional guest experience. Availability Requirements:

• Must be available to work closing shifts and weekends.
• Part-time position with opportunities for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality hot and cold beverages according to company recipes and standards.
• Consistently execute latte art while maintaining proper espresso extraction and beverage quality.
• Calibrate espresso equipment and dial in grinders throughout service to maintain consistency.
• Prepare smoothies according to company recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
• Follow all health, safety, and food-handling guidelines.
• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive customer service.
• Maintain beverage quality, consistency, and efficiency during high-volume service.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth café operations.
• Follow direction, ask questions when clarification is needed, and contribute to a collaborative, positive team environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a barista in a third-wave specialty coffee environment.
• Strong understanding of espresso extraction, grinder calibration, and dialing in espresso.
• Demonstrated latte art skills and the ability to produce consistent results.
• Experience operating La Marzocco espresso machines.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to beverage quality and consistency.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid California Food Handler’s Certificate.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.
• Receptive to feedback, willing to follow direction, and comfortable asking questions when needed.
