Physical Therapist Assistant - Full-Time

Role: The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education in home health settings to improve patient well-being, following a plan of care under supervision. Responsibilities Adhere to state laws and supervise treatment plans defined by a licensed Physical Therapist Instruct patients in exercises, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training Monitor, document, and report patient responses and condition changes Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members on therapy activities Qualifications & Skills Licensed or certified to practice physical therapy assistance in the state Current CPR certification Valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle or transportation Ability to work with diverse patient populations and perform physical tasks like lifting and transferring Availability for weekend rotations Key Duties: Deliver patient-centered care, coordinate with healthcare team, maintain documentation, and ensure adherence to legal and safety standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr Azza HealthCare Agency
