Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intensive Care (Night Shift)

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intensive Care (Night Shift) in Reno, Nevada.

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: 3x12, Night Shift, with variable scheduling including weekends and holidays.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Pediatric Intensive Care is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services to critically ill pediatric patients, as well as their families. In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The position requires the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate care among a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of practices and protocols specific to pediatric intensive care.
• Engage with families and caregivers regarding patient care plans.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care is required. Prior travel nursing experience is also required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Nevada RN license required prior to start date.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
