CNC Machinist (2nd Shift + Shift Differential) Direct Hire Marion, NY (25 min from Rochester) $24.50 $35.00/hr (includes shift differential, based on experience) Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week (MonThurs)

Schedule
- 2nd Shift: Monday Thursday, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM
- Training: 46 weeks on 1st shift (MonFri, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
What You'll Do
- Operate CNC lathes and/or mills to produce precision PTFE components
- Read and interpret blueprints and part drawings
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers)
- Make offsets, tooling adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
- Assist with setups (or perform setups based on experience)
- Complete production documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace (5S standards)
What We're Looking For We are open to multiple experience levels: Option 1 CNC Operator (Entry-Level)
- 1+ year CNC or manufacturing experience
- Ability to read basic prints and use measuring tools
Option 2 CNC Machinist (Mid-Level)
- 25+ years CNC machining experience
- Setup experience and troubleshooting skills
- Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills
Additional Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Associate degree in Machining or related field
- Experience with tight tolerances or plastics (PTFE)
