Buyer – Engineering & Prototype Procurement

.What You Will Be Doin

• gSource and procure raw materials, components, prototype parts, equipment, machinery, and supplies to support engineering and business operations
• .Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and supplier terms to achieve the best overall value while maintaining quality and timing requirements
• .Review and interpret CAD drawings and engineering documentation to support prototype and production purchasing activities
• .Work closely with engineering, suppliers, logistics, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of purchased materials and components
• .Manage supplier communications, quotations, purchase orders, and procurement documentation
• .Utilize SAP to support purchasing transactions, supplier management, and reporting activities
• .Monitor supplier performance and proactively resolve delivery, quality, and supply chain issues
• .Support continuous improvement initiatives related to purchasing processes and supplier performance

.What You Need to Be Successfu

• lBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, or a related field
• .5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience
• .Experience purchasing automotive, engineering, prototype, or technical components
• .Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and engineering documentation
• .Strong SAP experience
• .Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related business software
• .Excellent communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills
• .Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering and development environment
• .Ability to travel and work additional hours as required
