CDL-A Drop and Hook Driver

Pay & Schedule Pay: $1,350–$1,550 weekly with $1,200 guaranteed minimum eligibility Schedule: Monday through Friday Northeast regional routes Home Time: Full 48‑hour reset at home every weekend Location: Camden, NJ 08102 $500 paid during orientation 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadias Automatic trucks with APUs and inverters Regional CDL‑A position with organized freight planning Overview A Northeast regional CDL-A truck driver opening is now available out of Camden for drivers who want a steady weekday schedule without sacrificing weekend home time. This fleet is built around predictable freight flow, planned dispatch transitions, and consistent regional miles throughout the week. Responsibilities Drivers operate Monday through Friday through established Northeast corridors with routes structured to get drivers home for a full 48‑hour reset every weekend. Freight stays organized and dispatch planning helps reduce downtime between loads so drivers can keep miles steady from week to week. Weekly Pay & Benefits Drivers average between $1,250–$1,450 weekly depending on experience and freight volume. A $1,200 guaranteed minimum pay program is available for qualifying drivers during slower freight periods. Payroll runs every Friday. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, holiday pay, safety bonuses, plus E‑Z Pass and I‑Pass coverage. Equipment Drivers are assigned 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadias with automatic transmissions. Trucks include APUs, SiriusXM, refrigerator, inverter, double bunk, and TV setup inside the cab. Equipment is maintained regularly to help avoid unnecessary downtime and keep drivers running consistently. Orientation Orientation lasts 2.5 days with hotel and meals provided. Drivers leave orientation with $500, lane information, and direct dispatcher communication before starting their first run. CDL‑A Driver Requirements Valid Class A CDL required Must be at least 21 years old Must meet one of the following experience requirements: 3 months OTR in the last year 6 months OTR or local experience in the last year 1 year OTR experience within the last 3 years CK Transportation is a family‑owned company operating approximately 350 trucks nationwide with additional regional, dedicated, local, team, and lease opportunities available.
