Role Description The EVS Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role located in Keosauqua, IA. This position oversees Environmental Services staff to ensure that all hospital and clinic areas are clean, safe, and properly maintained. Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling and assigning work, monitoring cleaning standards, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols. The EVS Supervisor trains and mentors team members, manages supplies and equipment, and collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to support a high-quality patient and visitor experience. The role also involves documenting processes, reporting maintenance or safety issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within Environmental Services. Qualifications Leadership and supervision skills, including staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback. Knowledge of healthcare environmental services, infection control practices, and safety standards. Strong organizational and time management abilities to oversee multiple areas and priorities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and departments. Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset for inspections, documentation, and compliance. Ability to work on-site, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform light to moderate physical tasks. Prior experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or facilities in a healthcare setting preferred.
