HR Generalist I Position Title: HR Generalist I Department: Human Resources Salary: $45,572.80-$50,211.20 Pay Grade: 10 Workday & Hours: 40 hours a week - Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Benefits Eligibility: Eligible (Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, EAP Program, Retirement APERS, Arkansas Public Employees Retirement System) Vacation, Sick time, Holiday time Job Summary Human Resource Generalist I performs duties that support daily operations of the Washington County Human Resources Department. Responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding, assisting with benefits administration, expense management, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. The HR Generalist I role acts as the main contact between the workforce and the department for all employees HR related needs. Required Qualifications Must be able to pass a criminal background check, obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances where required, this position is subject to pre‑employment and reasonable suspicion testing, and if a promotional position, candidate must pass an assignment drug test.
