Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomist - Float to support our client’s medical facility based in Valrico, FL. This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with healthcare organization! Title: Phlebotomist - Float Location: Valrico, FL Schedule: Monday-Friday w/rotating Saturdays (Availability between 5A-3P) Pay Range/Salary Range: $22 - $24 Contract Duration: 3+ months Job Description: Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric. Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which include weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime. Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable. Travel and flexible hours required to work at multiple locations and required to cover Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice. Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting. Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business. Training locations may vary based on trainer availability. Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED. Work Experience : 2-4 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Floaters travel between multiple sites and are expected to be on time at whatever site they are covering for that day. Floaters can submit mileage for expense reimbursement. Interested? Apply now!
