Summer Facility Manager

Summer Facility Manager (Temporary) Location: St. Mary's City, MD Open Date: Apr 17, 2026 St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting résumés for one to two temporary positions as Summer Facility Manager in the Athletic and Recreation Center. Responsibilities include all daily operations of the Athletics and Recreation Center including opening and closing the facility, student employee supervision and management assistance, emergency response, monitoring and enforcing member and guest access, coordinating special events, and assisting the ARC Director with other tasks as assigned. These are contingent positions with no benefits provided and a gross hourly pay rate of $16.45. Qualifications: Must be 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift approximately 25 pounds. Experience supervising a fitness center environment is preferred. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
