We are currently looking for a Supply Planner to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for managing inventory levels and optimizing the supply chain network across multiple locations in the U.S. This role will focus on building strong supplier relationships, ensuring order efficiency, and maintaining optimal days of supply to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Relationships
   • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality standards.
   • Monitor supplier performance, including lead times, order accuracy, and responsiveness to issues or changes in demand.
   • Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, managing contracts, resolving disputes, and improving communication to mitigate supply risks.
2. Order Efficiency
   • Analyze and plan purchase orders based on forecasted demand, inventory levels, and lead times to optimize order quantities and minimize costs.
   • Use data-driven insights to consolidate orders, reduce shipping costs, and streamline inbound logistics across multiple locations.
   • Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient receiving and stocking processes to avoid delays or bottlenecks.
3. Managed Days of Supply (DOS) Across the Network
   • Monitor and manage days of supply (DOS) across all distribution centers, ensuring the right balance between meeting customer demand and minimizing excess inventory.
   • Continuously review and adjust stocking strategies based on historical data, seasonal trends, and market changes to maintain optimal inventory levels.
   • Work with sales, demand planning, and operations teams to align supply plans with business objectives and avoid stockouts or overstock situations.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes by providing inventory and supplier performance data.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in supply chain processes, systems, and tools.
• Generate and present reports on inventory performance, supplier KPIs, and order efficiency metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including supplier management, order planning, and inventory optimization.
• Proficient in supply chain software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
