Logistics Associate

Pay Rate: $25.00–$28.00/hour
Location: Onsite in Miami, FL
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday, 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
Additional Information:  Role will start the last week in October

Position Summary

The Logistics Associate supports manufacturing operations by managing material flow, inventory accuracy, kitting, milk-run activities, and lineside delivery to production and general assembly teams. This role requires strong attention to detail, safety awareness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Move materials between receiving docks, warehouse, production, and shipping areas.
• Use warehouse systems to process inventory transactions and material movements.
• Pull and deliver parts to support production schedules.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Prepare and execute milk runs and support kitting activities.
• Uncrate critical components for general assembly customers.
• Support indirect-material storage and delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S principles.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all PPE and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, general assembly, and base operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience,  or high school diploma/GED with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate heavy warehouse equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Employment Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check, MVR check, and drug screen, and complying with the company’s Substance Abuse Policy.

Day-One Requirement: Composite-toe safety shoes meeting ASTM F2412 and ASTM F2413 standards.
