What you will enjoy doing:

• Work in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks on-time while meeting safety and quality requirements
• Perform multiple tasks that change day-to-day as new products are developed
• Execute design of experiments, working with New Product Introduction engineers to develop new materials and processes
• Manufacture new materials and execute new processes with limited instructions using accumulated knowledge, while maintaining a safety-first mindset
• Support and participate in current and new safety initiatives/policies as business needs arise
• Follow step by step instructions detailed by engineers in turnover reports, written job instructions, or verbal instructions
• Display the ability to perform basic and accurate math for production needs using a calculator and provided spreadsheets
• Perform the operation of machines, fork trucks, and/or associated equipment
• Complete minor to moderate machine adjustments and maintenance repairs as needed by utilizing your mechanical skillset

What makes you great:

• High School diploma / GED is required
• 3-5 years of direct working experience in a related job field (i.e. Spray drying, Powder Sizing or Combustion Spray Pyrolysis process) combined with proven mechanical knowledge
• Ability to read, comprehend and understand work instructions
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to operate fork truck, electric hoist, scales, and label machines
• Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping, crouching, climbing and capable of lifting 40lbs
• Ability to wear a full face or half face respirator
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite are preferred
