• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360-$2,480
• Schedule Notes: Minimum every other weekend coverage required; schedule may be adjusted to support unit and patient care needs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience in a large teaching hospital strongly preferred
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required prior to start
• Epic EMR experience within the last 2 years required
• Ability to begin within the next two weeks
• Complete work history required, including facility type, bed count, and EMR experience
• Must be able to explain any employment gaps over 90 days
• Reliable transportation strongly recommended

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to Medical-Surgical Telemetry patients with a focus on safety, quality, and positive outcomes
• Monitor telemetry, assess neurological status, and promptly report changes in patient condition
• Support patients on a neuro-surgical and surgical unit with professionalism and clinical confidence
• Administer medications, complete treatments, and document care accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care
• Maintain a patient-centered approach while adapting to the pace and needs of a busy teaching hospital environment
• Work scheduled weekends as needed to help ensure consistent unit coverage
