MedSurg RN Job Description Marshfield, WI

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical for a contract assignment in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Start Date: December 15, 2025

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Location: Medical Surgical Unit

Pay Range: $2,400 $2,542 per week (gross)

Requirements:

Active RN license (state eligibility required)

Minimum 1 year of MedSurg experience

Current BLS certification (AHA required)

Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills

Job Duties for MedSurg RN:

Provide direct patient care to adult patients with diverse medical conditions

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs, and document accurately

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans

Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions

Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
