Business Analyst with BlackRock Aladdin platform

Job Description:



Aladdin Platform Implementation & Customization:
• Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of the BlackRock Aladdin platform for new clients or internal projects, ensuring that the solution meets the specific needs of the organization.
• Configure Aladdin modules for portfolio management, risk analytics, performance measurement, and trading workflows according to client requirements.



Platform Optimization & Maintenance:
• Provide ongoing support and optimization of the BlackRock Aladdin platform, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively for all users.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions that drive efficiency and enhance decision-making.



Training & Knowledge Transfer:
• Deliver training sessions to internal teams or clients on the usage of the Aladdin platform, including best practices for portfolio management, risk reporting, and analytics.
• Create and maintain user documentation and knowledge bases related to Aladdin workflows.



Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Conduct deep analysis on portfolio data, risk metrics, and performance reports generated by Aladdin.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the platform's risk management tools are being utilized to their full potential, and offer insights based on data trends and reporting.



Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams :
• Collaborate with internal teams such as investment managers, risk professionals, IT specialists, and business analysts to ensure that the Aladdin platform integrates seamlessly with other financial tools and systems.
• Liaise with BlackRock's technical support team to resolve any platform issues or technical challenges quickly and effectively.



Stay Current with Platform Updates:
• Keep up to date with the latest releases and features of the BlackRock Aladdin platform, ensuring that the team and clients are aware of new tools and enhancements that could be valuable.
• Proactively work with internal teams to assess new features and their potential integration into business processes.



Qualifications:
• Proven experience working with the BlackRock Aladdin platform (at least 8+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of investment management workflows, including portfolio management, risk management, and performance analysis.
• Experience in configuring and implementing Aladdin modules (e.g., Portfolio Management, Risk, Performance, Trading, Data Management).



Skills:
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting using Aladdin.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments, asset classes, and portfolio management concepts.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and risk management frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.



Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin platform and its functionalities.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SQL, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
