Skilled CNC Machinist? Ready for a Better Opportunity?

We're hiring a CNC Set-Up professional in Hamden, CT , with pay ranging from $21-$45/hour based on experience . You'll have the opportunity to put your machining skills to work, support production, and play a key role in making sure quality parts are produced accurately and efficiently.

And the schedule? Four-day workweeks are available!

Location: Hamden, CT
Pay: $21-$45/hour DOE
Schedule Options:

Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
OR
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM + Friday, 7:00 AM-11:00 AM

What You'll Do

Set up and program CNC milling machines, lathes, and Swiss machines
Monitor machines and make adjustments during operation
Support operators and assist with part inspections
Load and unload materials
Inspect finished parts using calipers and micrometers
Assist with first-piece inspections
Read and follow blueprints and work instructions
Follow safety and quality procedures
Keep your work area clean, organized, and production-ready

What We're Looking For

3+ years of CNC machining or milling experience preferred
Experience with calipers and micrometers
Ability to read basic blueprints
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
