Salary Range: $24.00 - $33.00

In this role, you will collaborate with an Occupational Therapist to enhance the quality of life for residents by assisting with therapy activities and exercises outlined in their treatment plans. This position offers you the chance to develop essential skills such as problem-solving, communication, and creativity while delivering comprehensive care.

• Deliver, monitor, and document services for patients/residents facing physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial challenges.
• Select, implement, and adapt activities and interventions that align with established competency levels and objectives.
• Communicate effectively and provide documentation to the occupational therapist.
• Maintain knowledge of the targeted occupational therapy outcomes for each patient/resident.

• Must possess the appropriate educational background as required by state licensure.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice is mandatory.
• For those working at a facility affiliated with our organization (preferred but not mandatory for GSS Facilities): Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred. Compliance with state supervision and licensing standards is required.
• A valid driver's license may be necessary, depending on the role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
