• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients' unique stressors, challenges, and goals, allowing for customized mindfulness interventions.

• Deliver mindfulness-based therapy, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to help clients manage stress, anxiety, and emotional turmoil.

• Guide clients through various mindfulness exercises such as meditation, breathwork, and self-reflection techniques to foster awareness and resilience.
\n
• Facilitate group workshops on mindfulness and stress management, creating an interactive and engaging learning environment.
\n
• Integrate mindfulness concepts into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health conditions and encouraging personal growth.

• Maintain clear, thorough documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans, ensuring alignment with evidence-based best practices.

• Engage in personal mindfulness practices and professional development to deepen your expertise and enhance the therapeutic offerings provided to clients.

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those facing anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your approach will adapt to cater to the individual needs of each client, fostering a strengths-based perspective and empowering them to navigate life's difficulties with confidence. By utilizing mindfulness techniques, you will support clients in developing coping strategies that promote long-term emotional health and resilience.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Strong commitment to promoting mindfulness practices and emotional well-being.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to create a supportive and calming atmosphere for clients.

• At least two years of experience working in a mental health counseling role, preferably within outpatient settings.

• Extensive training or certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly desirable.

• Experience conducting group therapy and workshops is a plus.

• Annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
