Senior Pharmacy Technician

Join to apply for the Senior Pharmacy Technician role at Walgreens Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations. Support Pharmacy Department duties following company policies and procedures. Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and coach pharmacy technicians and cashiers in system use and cash register operation. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and developing strong relationships with valuable customers. Assist in pharmacy operations including entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and managing inventory, under pharmacist supervision. Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to pharmacy dispensing policies, including Good Faith Dispensing. Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and process third-party prescription claims. Support clinical services, maintain pharmacy cleanliness and supplies, and foster good relationships with healthcare providers. Maintain PTCB certification, attend training, and acquire continuing education credits. Prior experience as a pharmacy technician and bilingual skills are preferred.
