This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Market Sales Manager - New England (GolfNow) based in United States.
This role is focused on driving revenue growth and strengthening partnerships within the golf technology ecosystem.
The position combines consultative selling, account management, and SaaS business development to help clients improve their operations.
You will manage the complete sales lifecycle, from prospecting and discovery to solution design, negotiation, and retention.
Working closely with golf course operators, you will identify business challenges and deliver technology solutions that create measurable value.
The role offers the opportunity to build strong market relationships while expanding adoption of innovative software platforms.
As a remote position with in-market travel, you will have autonomy while collaborating with internal teams to achieve shared growth objectives.
Accountabilities:
The Market Sales Manager will own sales execution and partner growth across an assigned territory, developing trusted relationships with golf course operators and helping them leverage technology solutions to improve efficiency, revenue, and customer engagement.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including account planning, prospecting, discovery, solution selling, negotiations, closing, and post-sale relationship development.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with golf course operators, prospects, and multi-location businesses by understanding their operational goals and challenges.
- Grow an existing customer portfolio by identifying expansion opportunities, increasing product adoption, and supporting long-term retention.
- Present tailored solutions that address business needs across operations, revenue optimization, customer engagement, and technology adoption.
- Develop deep market knowledge by analyzing local business opportunities, competitive landscapes, industry trends, and key decision-makers.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline activity, monitor revenue performance, and provide insights on market opportunities.
- Collaborate with regional leaders and internal teams to execute sales strategies and improve performance metrics, including customer growth, retention, and product utilization.
- Develop strong knowledge of SaaS platforms, including software solutions supporting scheduling, point-of-sale operations, payments, and business management.
- Demonstrate technology value by connecting platform capabilities with operational improvements, revenue growth, and enhanced customer experiences.
- Support successful implementation, adoption, and expansion of solutions through collaboration with product, onboarding, support, and account teams.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a sales professional with experience in SaaS, technology solutions, account growth, and relationship-based selling. They should combine strong commercial skills with the ability to understand customer needs and deliver solutions that drive business outcomes.
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, digital marketing, account management, business development, or technology sales.
- Proven success managing full sales cycles, closing new business, expanding existing accounts, and driving recurring revenue growth.
- Experience selling software, payments, point-of-sale systems, marketing technology, or similar business technology solutions.
- Strong consultative selling, discovery, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop trusted partnerships with customers and act as a strategic advisor.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and maintaining accurate sales activity reporting.
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and a track record of achieving sales goals.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned market, including occasional weekends or short-notice business needs.
- Experience working with golf courses, hospitality businesses, resorts, recreation organizations, or multi-location operators is a plus.
- Familiarity with reservation systems, payment technology, business management software, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, adapt quickly, and operate independently.
- College degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
