Role: A&A Manager Location: King County, WA Work Type: Hybrid (two days onsite) A well-established public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Accounting & Assurance Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA who enjoys working directly with clients, leading engagements, solving complex accounting and tax issues, and developing accounting professionals. What You’ll Do Lead audit, assurance, and financial reporting engagements from planning through completion. Review financial statements and engagement work for accuracy and compliance. Oversee tax preparation and review for individuals and business entities. Provide accounting, tax, and financial guidance to clients. Manage multiple engagements and competing priorities while meeting deadlines. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships. Identify tax planning and business advisory opportunities. Lead, mentor, and develop staff through coaching and performance feedback. Research accounting and tax matters and stay current with regulatory changes. Collaborate with firm leadership and team members to deliver exceptional client service. What You Need Active CPA license required.** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. 5+ years of public accounting experience. Strong audit and assurance background. Working knowledge of federal and state taxation. Experience reviewing complex accounting and tax engagements. Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage client relationships and multiple priorities independently. Experience mentoring or supervising accounting professionals. High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. Experience with real estate clients is a plus.
