About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Experience: 1 year required License: WA RT or CIS License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or CCI RCIS Must-Have: First-timers accepted: No On-Call Required: 1 call day per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included in submittal Description: The Cath Lab Tech will perform all diagnostic procedures including PCI and structural heart procedures. This role involves working with various technologies and equipment associated with cardiac care. The technologist will assist in maintaining a sterile field and accurate monitoring of patients. Candidates should be skilled in electrophysiology evaluations and both left and right heart catheterizations. Additional duties may include performing EKG lead placements and arrhythmia induction. This position requires a commitment to quality patient care and collaboration with the healthcare team. The Cath Lab Tech should possess strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. Regular participation in on-call duties is required, including weekends every 5-6 weeks. Ideal candidates will have experience and competency in rhythm interpretation. Compliance with all safety standards and protocols is essential for success in this role. Candidates will be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed.
