Responsibilities: Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures for a diverse patient base Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and cancer screenings Take and review dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with practice protocols Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment plans Document accurate patient records and update medical/dental histories in the practice management system Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to develop individualized patient care plans Maintain sterilization and infection control standards in compliance with OSHA and state regulations Requirements: Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of New Jersey Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program Current CPR/BLS certification Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographsStrong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care Excellent chairside manner with the ability to put patients at ease Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills Experience with dental practice management software is a plus About Us: Miles of Smiles Dentistry LLC is a trusted dental practice proudly serving the Flemington, NJ community with comprehensive, compassionate oral healthcare.
