Inventory Specialist

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, conducting product counts, staging materials, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have inventory or warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Shifts available: Monday through Friday schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a pay rate of $23.50 per hour. Friday through Monday schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a pay rate of $25.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and counts to support operational efficiency and inventory integrity.
• Perform cycle counts and product audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Follow all quality assurance processes, procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Stage and organize materials within designated warehouse locations for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Operate warehouse equipment and tools safely and effectively in accordance with company policies.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to update inventory records and maintain required documentation.
• Assist in identifying, researching, and resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Support daily warehouse operations and other assigned tasks as needed.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, operational procedures, and company policies.

Desired Background/Skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related programs.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when required.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of warehouse, inventory control, or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move items exceeding 50 pounds.
• Ability to move materials weighing up to 500 pounds using wheeled carts and other approved material-handling equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
