Internal Sales Consultant

Job Summary Partners and supports sales directors (Regional Directors) as well as prospective and existing partners with new business proposals. Essential Functions Assists Regional Directors (External Sales Team) in maintaining and creating new relationships with Retirement Advisors. Handles incoming calls and emails involving prospecting, providing industry updates and sales ideas, and onboarding new business. Makes outbound calls as necessary. Partners with Regional Directors to maximize territory coverage and market penetration. Gathers necessary marketing data to identify and update information on prospective clients and competition. Provides marketing support, including proposal preparation and RFP response assistance. Consistently meets and/or exceeds performance expectations in a fast‑paced, demanding environment with tight deadlines. Collaborates and shares knowledge with colleagues. Works with internal operations partners to support post‑sales functions, including coordinating contracts, the conversion process, investment lineup and mapping. Communicates directly with other departments (Documents, Conversions, Operations, etc.). Maintains regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. Education, Experience and Certification Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field. 1–3 years of related experience within the retirement market. Preferred education or skills: Client Service/Sales experience within the Financial Services industry; possession or pursuit of an industry designation.
