Delivery Driver
Join The Common Market as a Delivery Driver operating a 26' box truck! We are a mission-driven distributor of local foods, committed to providing fresh, high-quality products from local farms to our customers. This position is essential in maintaining our strong network that supports local agriculture while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent service. This full-time position involves operating a 26' box truck to deliver local farm products throughout the Texas region from our Houston warehouse to Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for navigating routes, loading and unloading products, and delivering goods to our clients with professionalism and care. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to supporting sustainable food systems. You will play a crucial role in supporting local farmers and bringing fresh food to communities.
$21.00/hour, with up to $4k per year bonus for safe driving.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive a 26' box truck to deliver products to designated locations.
- Load and unload products manually as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with the office regarding pick-ups, deliveries, and service issues.
- Perform vehicle inspections and ensure the truck is kept in good working condition.
