Delivery Driver

Must have clean MVR

Work hours are Monday through Friday during normal business hours. NO OVERNIGHTS!

Here's what you'll do:

Safely operate and maintain delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
Load, unload, and organize items in the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely loading of delivery vehicles
Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and optimize time management
Verify the accuracy of delivery orders, matching them to the appropriate customers and addresses
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including professional interaction and assistance with basic inquiries
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or customer feedback
Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Assist in keeping warehouse clean and organized

Clean driving history and valid driver's license; must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test for Med Card
Min of 3 years of delivery preferred
Essential driving skills, including the ability to operate a vehicle safely, navigate through traffic, and park efficiently
High school diploma or equivalent required
General knowledge of construction products, tools, and equipment

Physical Capabilities Required:

Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy packages as required
Must be able to lift up to 75lbs at a time
Adequate vision to read addresses, signs, and other important information while driving and delivering products and equipment
Sufficient manual dexterity for precise handling of products and equipment and efficient completion of tasks
Resilient ability to work in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat and cold
